Shy launderette worker Adrian coughs up feathers when he's stressed. Lovely Lian from next door vanishes into the ether when she cries, and can only return when it rains. Unfortunately for lovestruck Adrian, a record-breaking heat wave takes hold after a disaster with a washing machine causes Lian to disappear.
